MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake community is invited to the 10th annual National Night Out set for Tuesday, Aug. 6.
The free event is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McCosh Park.
Information on crime prevention, traffic and child safety and resources from public safety and health organizations will be available. Participating agencies include the Moses Lake police and fire departments, Grant County Sheriff’s Office, Grant County Fire District 5, the Central Basin Traffic Safety Task Force and more.
Activities this year include fingerprinting for kids, free bicycle registration, free food and Sno-Cones and a dunk tank featuring Moses Lake police Chief Kevin Fuhr and Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones.
Families can also check out a number of police and fire vehicles that will be on display during the event.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign to promote partnerships between police and community members held across the country.
