MOSES LAKE – More than 60 employers are set to attend the Big Bend Community College Job and Career Fair Thursday, March 1.

The 25th annual event is held inside the college’s ATEC Building and runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Job seekers have the chance to network with local businesses and organizations looking to hire.

Categories of employers attending include manufacturing, food processing, retail, service industries, health care, law enforcement, aerospace, education and technology.

Big Bend can also provide job seekers resume help through its Career Services Center. Anyone interested should contact the center at 509-793-2069.

A complete list of employers can be found at under the “Student Life” tab. Interview tips and resume and cover letter advice is also available on the website.

The event is free to attend and is open to both Big Bend students and the public.

“Although some participating vendors represent legal immigration enforcement agencies, this event should be considered secure for DREAMers, DACA recipients, and students and members of the community whose immigration status is undocumented,” Big Bend officials stated.

The Job and Career Fair is a partnering event between Big Bend Community College, Moses Lake WorkSource: WA State Employment Security, SkillSource, Adams County Development Council, Grant County Economic Development Council, OIC and other organizations.
