MOSES LAKE - Criminal Justice students at the Columbia Basin Technical Skills Center held a brief ceremony Wednesday morning to honor law enforcement officers who perished on 9/11.

Students were joined by school district staff and Moses Lake police for the first ceremony at CB Tech.

Following a flag raising ceremony, criminal justice students read aloud the names of the 60 law enforcement officers who died in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Moses Lake firefighters also held their annual ceremony Wednesday morning at the Sept. 11 memorial at Civic Center Park, joined by police and community members to commemorate the attacks and to honor and remember the victims.
