A Chelan County nursing assistant is accused of conning a vulnerable adult out of money. The Washington State Department of Health says Yezica Padilla’s nursing assistant license has been suspended after it was discovered that she had “financially exploited” a patient in her care. As a result, Padilla is prohibited from being employed in the care of and having unsupervised access to vulnerable adults. On April 4th, 2019, state health officials determined that Padilla did commit the act. iFIBER ONE News has made a public records request from DSHS to obtain further details.
