astronomy night

MOSES LAKE -  North Elementary School in Moses Lake is hosting an astronomy night on Wednesday.

The community is invited to the event from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at North Elementary, located at 1200 W. Craig St. in the Larson Housing community.

Dr. James Hamm, a science and physics professor at Big Bend Community College, will be on hand and is bringing several telescopes to give families a chance to view stars and planets.

Wednesday night’s forecast shows mostly clear skies, so participants should be able to get a clear view of the night sky.
