TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Washington State senior wide receiver Dezmon Patmon has been named to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List.

Patmon is one of six Pac-12 recovers named to the watch list for the award given to the season’s most outstanding FBS receiver in college football. The last Cougar wideout named the the same preseason list was Gabe Marks prior to the 2016 season.

As a junior, Patmon caught 61 passes for a team-high 816 yards, good for eighth in the Pac-12, and also caught five touchdowns. Patmon averaged 13.4 yards per catch and recorded three 100-yard games last year.

University of Washington’s Aaron Fuller was also named to the watch list for the 2019 season.

The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the season's outstanding FBS receiver in

college football. Any player, regardless of position, who catches a pass is eligible for the award. As such, the Biletnikoff Award recognizes college football's outstanding receiver, not merely college football's outstanding wide receiver.
