WENATCHEE - This Friday and Saturday, an event known as Fiesta Mexicanas will continue to erase any invisible divide between cultures in the Wenatchee area and beyond. Dedicated to the inclusion of all diverse cultural backgrounds and values, the event, now in its 20th year. Fiesta Mexicanas is about embracing Mexican culture but the mindset is mutual towards others of a different ethnic background.

Fiesta Mexicanas is purposed to provide cultural awareness and education about the history, lifestyle and people of Mexico. The annual event is an opportunity to enjoy traditional Latin food, Mexican folklore, live entertainment, music, art, crafts and more.

Fiestas Mexicanas is supported by the Wenatchee Museum and Cultural Center.

The event runs from noon until 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13 and Saturday, Sept. 14 in Wenatchee’s Lincoln Park.
