GRANT COUNTY - Grant County is full of Halloween events for kids of all ages this year.

Ephrata

Columbia Basin Hospital will hold a trick-or-treat with hospital residents at the Garden Oasis Assisted Living on Oct. 31 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The hospital will also be offering candy safety checks from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Halloween. Community members can bring candy gathered by their children to the Radiology Department where staff will x-ray the candy and ensure safety.

Downtown Trick or Treating is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 31 at participating downtown businesses.

Halloween Carnival is at the Ephrata American Legion Art Semro Post 28 at 276 Eighth Ave. NW from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Kids can "trunk-or-treat" at cars offering candy from their trunks, cake walks will be every thirty minutes and a silly costume contest will top off the night. Popcorn, hot cocoa and hotdogs will be available. 

Moses Lake

Downtown Trick-or-Treating is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Small and special needs children can begin trick-or-treating at 4 p.m and then opens to all ages at 5 p.m. There will be a special performance by the Ballet Academy of Moses Lake of Michael Jackson's Thriller from 5:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. The academy will perform the dance every 15 minutes and everyone is encouraged to join in. Community Trick-or-Treat at Moses lake High School is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., sponsored by the Associated Student Body.

Halloween Carnival is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31 at the Moses Lake Grocery Outlet, located at 1177 N Stratford Road.

Living Nightmare Haunted Attraction is running seven to midnight on Oct. 20, 21, 27 and 28 in Moses Lake. There is a suggested donation of three dollars per child and five dollars per adult. All proceeds go to Grant County Animal Outreach. The attraction is located at 16063 Stratford Road NE Moses Lake. Living Nightmare has added a "Little Kreepers" Kiddie Alley for those young and daring. The main walk-through is not suggested for the faint hearted or young children.

Quincy

Downtown Trick-or-Treat is on Halloween from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at participating businesses. If your business would like to participate the Chamber of Commerce urges you to call 509-787-2140.

Soap Lake

Trunk-or-Treat is from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Soap Lake High School track field, along with a haunted house at the high school put on by the Soap Lake FFA. Trunk-or-Treat is sponsored by the Soap Lake Police Department, Grant County Fire District 7, AMR and Masquers Theater.
