MOSES LAKE - Moses Lake police are investigating a Monday morning shooting that left a 21-year-old man injured.
Officers responded about 8:30 a.m. to multiple reports of two to three shots fired near an apartment complex in the 500 block of North Grape Drive, according to Moses Lake police.
Two possible suspects were contacted and reportedly denied hearing any gunshots. Both subjects were uncooperative with investigators.
Officers later found a pistol and magazine, along with other items, in the back of the apartment complex. Officers also reportedly located blood in the snow.
A 21-year-old man was contacted by police at Samaritan Hospital after he arrived with a gunshot wound to his foot. Police say the man and his girlfriend, who is a potential witness, are uncooperative.
Moses Lake police also continue to investigate a Nov. 27 drive-by shooting near the same Grape Drive apartment complex. Witnesses reported two people exited a red car on the north side of an apartment and fired five or six shots, according to Moses Lake police. Three shell casings were located on scene. No injuries were reported.
Detectives are reviewing area security camera video to identify possible suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Moses Lake police at 509-762-1160.
