MOSES LAKE- Every year, Scorebook Live compiles a first team, second team and name honorable mentions for their All-Class Team. The list includes players across the entire state, and making any team is an impressive feat.
A player of the year is also named, and for the 2019 season it was Moses Lake pitcher, Evan McLean who was given the honor. To say McLean was un-hittable his senior year isn’t a huge overstatement. He went 8-0 as a starter and had a 0.65 ERA in 60 innings, on top of throwing a perfect game in the state semifinals. He also batted .465 on the season.
McLean wasn’t the only Moses Lake Chief to get love. Head Coach Donnie Lindgren was named the All-State Coach of the Year and his teammate Dax Lindgren was named to the first team as a utility player. His other teammate, Dominick Signorelli, received an honorable mention.
The only other player from the Columbia Basin to make the list was Warden pitcher, Ryan Arredondo, who received an honorable mention.
