Ag appreciation parade

MOSES LAKE - Moses Lake’s annual Agricultural Appreciation Parade and Street Party is set to return for its 25th year on Friday, Dec. 6.

The street party kicks off at 5 p.m. at Sinkiuse Square with entertainment, carolers, street musicians, food and hot cocoa, Santa and more. Many downtown businesses will also be open late for holiday shoppers.

The lighted ag parade starts at 7 p.m. and will depart from the Surf n’ Slide parking lot and head onto West Third Avenue. The route continues onto South Division Street and West Fourth Avenue. Participants light up their farm equipment and floats for the annual parade paying tribute to Grant County’s agricultural heritage.

The Downtown Moses Lake Association is accepting parade entries until Nov. 28. Entry forms are available online at www.mlbacares.org/ag-parade.
