MOSES LAKE – OIC of Washington in Moses Lake is set to begin enrollment for residents needing help paying their heating bill this winter.

The Energy Assistance Program of OIC of Washington begins open winter enrollment on Sept. 4. The program is open to residents to both Grant and Adams counties and people can schedule an appointment at the OIC of Washington office, located at 903 W. Third Ave. or call 509-765-9206.

Appointments are made on a first come, first serve basis.

To be eligible for the program, you must live within Grant and Adams counties, fall within households at or below federal poverty guidelines, show proof of income for the past three months and provide proof of identification for every member of the home.

The program provides financial assistance to households to offset winter heating bills.
