MOSES LAKE - A report of a student with a gun caused the temporary shuttering of Chief Moses Middle School in Moses Lake Thursday morning.

Moses Lake Schools says the school went into lockdown at 11:15 a.m. Police Capt. Dave Sands told iFIBER ONE News that a student posted something online about the student having a gun. Police were summoned to the school to verify that the student had a firearm but only found a cap gun.

The lockdown was lifted at 11:24 a.m. and classes resumed as normal.

Whomever that kid is, he should be punished severely.
