Safeco Field

SEATTLE – The Seattle Mariners are auctioning off the giant letters which used to comprise the Safeco Field signage at their stadium, which is now known as T-Mobile Park.

The team is offering a total of 17 consonants and 14 vowels from “Safeco Field” and “Welcome To Safeco Field” signs which used to occupy the space above the park’s external rotunda and press box. The club is also offering the defunct “center field” sign as well.

Bidding for the individual letters and sign starts as low as $125. The auction closes on Aug. 12.

Winning bidders must pick up their merchandise between Aug. 14-20 at a location which has yet to be determined.
