MOSES LAKE - In collaboration with College Hill and Yakima Chief Hops, Ten Pin Brewing is releasing a batch of beer for the benefit of some attending Washington State University’s Carson College of Business.
Ten Pin will serve its first glass (and many more after) of Graduate Golden Ale during a release party slated to happen at the Ten Pin Tap House in Moses Lake at 7 p.m. on Aug. 31.
Ten Pin will donate $1 from every pint purchase of the Graduate Golden Ale back to a scholarship fund at WSU. In addition to pint purchase donations, proceeds from all keg purchases will go directly to a fully-funded scholarship that awards students seeking majors in beverage management within the Carson College of Business.
“We were approached by College Hill about the ‘Beer For A Cause’ project and are proud to support such an endeavor,” Ten Pin Brewery Manager B.J. Garbe told iFIBER ONE News.
And if you’re wondering what to expect from Ten Pin’s unique batch of Graduate Golden Ale, Garbe eloquently described it as “an ale brewed Yakima Chief’s newest hops that brings a lovely bouquet of cantaloupe, honeydew and papaya. It’s light, crisp, clean and refreshing.”
Yakima Chief Hops is a grower-owned global hop supplier and College Hill is a Pullman-based branded merchandize studio specializing in custom apparel, products and original graphic design. The company was founded at WSU.
