Moses Lake truck driver hurt in crash on Snoqualmie Pass

SNOQUALMIE PASS – A Moses Lake truck driver was injured when his semi-truck rolled onto its side on Snoqualmie Pass Friday evening.

Michael J. Weaver, a 40-year-old Moses Lake man, was transported to Overlake Hospital for undisclosed injuries, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Weaver was eastbound on Interstate-90 when his truck and trailer allegedly struck and attenuator and Jersey barrier on the right side of the highway, causing the vehicle to roll onto its left side. The state patrol reported the truck blocked traffic in both lanes.

The cause of the crash is allegedly driver inattention and Weaver faces related charges, according to the state patrol
