Damaged bridge

MOSES LAKE – The driver of a semi-truck that reportedly damaged a pedestrian bridge in Moses Lake on Tuesday will be ticketed for hit-and-run.

Adrian Cedillo-Juarez, a 35-year-old Royal City man, was driving a 1988 International semi-truck and trainer west on I-90 near Blue Heron Park. He was driving in the right lane when the trailer reportedly struck a pedestrian bridge, according to the Washington State Patrol on Thursday.

Troopers reportedly stopped the semi-truck on North Frontage Road.

One lane of I-90 was closed for several hours as the Washington Department of Transportation inspected the damage to the bridge.

The bridge is expected to be repaired in early April and is still safe for people to use.
