MONITOR - The Washington State Patrol is looking for a black Chevy Silverado that is accused of swerving at two motorcycles, which led to a collision.
According to Trooper Jeff Anderson, witnesses reported seeing a black diesel 1988-1999 body style Chevy Silverado brake-checking two motorcycles near Milepost 117 near Lower Sunny Slope Road Sunday evening.
Witnesses recalled the black Chevy Silverado reportedly pulled beside the motorcycles and allegedly swerved at them, causing one of the motorcycles to crash, according to WSP.
Trooper Jeff Anderson said the Silverado had a full-size cab in the back, and a gray and blue strip in the back window. Two passengers were inside the vehicle, while a male was seen driving the Silverado, witnesses told troopers.
The Washington State Patrol says the pickup involved fled the scene and the crash is being investigated as a road rage hit and run.
The Silverado was last seen traveling eastbound towards Wenatchee, troopers said Sunday night. Troopers added there are conflicting accounts regarding the collision. The motorcyclist involved doesn't recall the Silverado swerving prior to the collision, Anderson said.
The unidentified woman suffered minor injuries and is expected to make a full recovery, Anderson said.
