MOSES LAKE – Big Bend knocked off Yakima Valley 79-60 Wednesday night in their final home game of the season.

Jacob McCord notched another double-double, scoring a game-high 28 points and grabbing 16 rebounds. Jai Jai Ely added 19 points and six rebounds in the win.

The Vikings opened up a 13-point lead by halftime, shooting 50 percent and holding the Yaks to just 36 percent shooting. McCord had 16 points in the first half.

Big Bend outscored Yakima Valley 35-29 in the second half despite shooting just 1-for-7 on three-pointers.

The Vikings defense forced 22 turnovers in the game, leading to 15 points off turnovers.

Terrance White led Yakima Valley with 18 points in the game.

Big Bend heads to Spokane on Saturday for their final regular season game. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m.
