EPHRATA (VIDEO) – Ephrata soccer notched their first win of the year against Cascade behind three goals from Mya Spencer on Tuesday night.

The Tigers were coming off a 3-1 loss to Cashmere in their opening game but came out aggressive on Tuesday night.

Spencer put up Ephrata’s first goal of the game midway through the first half. She added her second goal about 10 minutes later to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead.

A pair of goals from Cascade's Lauren Richardson evened the match in the second half.

Spencer finished off the hat trick in the 68th minute and the Tigers held on to take the 3-2 win and even their early season record to 1-1.

Ephrata will head back on the road for their first league game on Saturday against Grandview.
