Jennifer Gering

MOSES LAKE – Jennifer Gering has been named the next head girls volleyball coach at Moses Lake High School.

Athletic Director Loren Sandhop announced Gering as the new coach on Monday, pending approval by the Moses Lake school board.

Gering spent 12 years as an assistant coach and head coach at Lind/Kahlotus, Ritzville and Lind/Ritzville High Schools, helping the Broncos win back-to-back state championships in 2003 and 2004, along with five total trips to the state tournament.

Gering is a Ritzville High School graduate and attended Eastern Washington University and Wichita State University.

“She brings passion for the sport coupled with knowledge of the game and high expectations,” Sandhop stated.

Moses Lake volleyball finished with just five match wins last season and a 5-9 record, falling to Eisenhower in a district play-in game to end the season.
