Eric Kemper

WENATCHEE - Eric Kemper placed in the Top 7 in 10 events while setting six personal best times at Inland Empire Christmas Open Swim Meet in Wenatchee over the weekend.

The 13-year-old unattached swimmer took first in the 200 Butterfly. He also touched first in the 200 Individual Medley with a personal best 2:16.78, and first in the 200 Backstroke with a best time of 2:18.18.

Kemper took second in 100 back, 200 Freestyle and 100 fly, setting PRs in all three swims. He also placed second in the 100 and 200 Breaststroke, third in the 100 free, and seventh in the 50 free.

Kemper has now qualified for the senior level Washington Open Meet to be held at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way in January.
