A back-and-forth second quarter ended with a 24-23 lead for Moses Lake.

Phillips took over in the third, getting to basket with ease time-after-time in his 16-point quarter but three-point shooting from Sunnyside kept the Chiefs’ lead to just two heading into the fourth.

Moses Lake’s Ryan Karstetter was held scoreless until the fourth quarter when he poured in nine points, including seven straight points as the Chiefs opened up their largest lead of the game 71-62 with about 25 seconds left.
