MOSES LAKE – For the 11th straight game, Moses Lake softball put up double-digit runs to knock off Eisenhower 16-5 on Tuesday.

The Chiefs are averaging just more than 16 runs a game during their 11-game win streak to improve to 12-1 in the Columbia Basin Big Nine, 12-3 overall. Their last loss came back on March 27.

Moses Lake trailed 3-2 in the bottom of the third before rallying to score three runs, including an RBI double from Brooke Richardson.

The Chiefs added seven runs in the fourth in an inning that included solo home runs from Michelle Turner, Brooklyn Bailey and Richardson.

Richardson’s single in the sixth inning scored two runs to end the game. She finished 5 for 5 from the plate with six RBIs and three runs scored. Turner and Bailey both added two runs and two RBIs in the game.

Moses Lake remains tied with Eastmont in the league standings with a doubleheader against Eisenhower on Friday before finishing the regular season with three games against Eastmont.
