MOSES LAKE – After dropping the first game of a doubleheader 6-3 to West Valley, Moses Lake softball bounced back in game two to win 10-0 Monday.

West Valley’s Talyn Trevino went 3 for 4 in game one, including a home run, and threw a complete game, holding the Chiefs to just three runs on nine hits.

Game two was scoreless until the second inning when Brooke Richardson, Paige Valdez and Alyssa Martinez all singled with two outs to load the bases. Tia Radach followed with a triple, clearing the bases and giving Moses Lake a 3-0 lead. Radach would later score on a throwing error to make it 4-0.

The Chiefs added four runs in the fifth on a two-run single from Kaylee Valdez and a two-run home run from Paige Valdez.

Back-to-back doubles from Michelle Turner and Gina Skinner, followed by an RBI single from Richardson, ended the game in the sixth as the Chiefs went up 10-0.

Moses Lake improves to 2-3 overall, 2-1 in league play. The Chiefs next face Davis on April 11.
