Report of 'gun shots heard' prompted lockdown of Chief Moses Middle School

MOSES LAKE -Another report of shots fired prompted the call for students and staff to 'stay indoors' at Chief Moses Middle School and Camp 5 on Thursday.

At about 1:44 p.m., the decision was made after receiving a call from Moses Lake Police that it was reported that gunshots were heard in the area.

After a thorough search of the area, Moses Lake police reported there was no credible threat and school operations resumed as normal.
