PULLMAN – Washington State quarterback Luke Falk’s six-touchdown performance against Oregon State earned him Pac-12 Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
Falk earns his fifth career Pac-12 weekly accolade and the first this season after throwing for 396 yards and tying a school record with his six touchdown passes in the 52-23 win over the Beavers on Saturday.
In four career starts against Oregon State, Falk is 4-0 and averaged 422.3 passing yards per game, throwing for 22 touchdowns and just two interceptions.
Falk owns school records for passing yards (11,793), passing touchdowns (98), total offense (11,521), pass completions (1,141), pass attempts (1,643) and 300-yard games (25). He enters the week fourth in Pac-12 history in passing touchdowns and fifth in passing yards.
The No. 18 Cougars are off to a 3-0 start for the first time since 2005 and host winless Nevada on Saturday with kickoff set for 3 p.m.
