MOSES LAKE – An Ephrata woman was hospitalized following a crash Tuesday morning on state Route 17 about eight miles north of Moses Lake.
Jianni B. Latimer, a 31-year-old woman, was driving a 2008 Nissan Altima south on SR 17. She suffered a medical problem and drove off the road to the right and struck a traffic sign, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Her vehicle came to rest in a field.
Latimer suffered a head injury and was taken to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake for treatment of her injury sustained in the crash as well as the medical issue that caused her drive off the road, according to Trooper Brian Moore.
The state patrol is not expected to issue any citations.
