QUINCY – A Quincy police officer was injured Friday morning after reportedly trying to make a U-turn in front a semi-truck on state Route 28.
Officer Albert Gonzalez, a 25-year-old man, was driving a 2009 Dodge Charger patrol car west on SR 28 in Quincy at about 6:15 a.m., when he allegedly attempted to make a U-turn at 10th Avenue Southwest, according to the Washington State Patrol. He reportedly turned in front of a 2006 Freightliner and the semi-truck hit the driver’s side of Gonzalez’s car.
