KENNEWICK – Moses Lake tennis is off to a rough start as back to back losses have the Chiefs at 0-2 to open the 2014 season.

The team boarded "Big Yellow" and headed to Kennewick Thursday in search of its first win. But Southridge was more than the Chiefs could handle as Suns dominated from start to finish.

The Moses Lake boy’s struggled mightily going without a win in a 7-0 shutout loss. The girls were turned back 6-1 by the Lady Suns. First doubles Carina LeFave and Kylee McKay defeated Shyler Sullivan and Emily Koehler, 6-1, 6-2 for the lone Chief win of the match.

Moses Lake, at 0-2, is back on the court Apr.3 when the Chiefs head east to match up with the Mt. Spokane Wildcats.
